Transfer Thursdays are monthly sessions that engage prospective transfer students. They are held on the third Thursday of each month throughout the fall and spring semesters and during the summer.

The National Institute for the Study of Transfer Students (NISTS) has declared the third week of October as National Transfer Student Week. This week allows the Office of Admissions to engage our prospective students through a series of events and information sessions to assist in the transition from one institution to another.
This year, National Transfer Student Week will be observed during Oct. 25-25, 2024. Colleges and universities across the country are planning a variety of events to highlight and show appreciation for transfer students in a variety of ways.
Join Spelman College along with, Emory University, Georgia Institute of Technology, Georgia State University, and Mercer University, for a virtual transfer admissions panel. Once registered, you will receive the login credentials that you will need to access the session.
