The mission of the Student Access Center is to create an accessible academic, social and physical environment at Spelman College by minimizing challenges and facilitating access to an equitable Spelman experience for all students, including students with documented disabilities. Students with documented disabilities are eligible for services. A "person with a disability" includes any person who (1) has a physical or mental impairment, which substantially limits one or more major life activities, (2) has a record of such impairment, or (3) is regarded as having such an impairment.
